My Ramblings...This & That and Things I Love!

I recently wrote a post about sustainable fashion, and since then, I’ve noticed so many brands coming out with sustainable lines. Among them are J Brand Jeans with the most amazing selection of jeans. J Brand has long been one of my favorite brands of jeans and I’m so happy to be able to shop this brand and feel good about it!

β€œLed by a new generation, the fashion world is now imbued with a higher consciousness. Mindless consumption is officially - finally - out of style.”

I’ve linked a few of my J Brand favorites below…this is such a good line!

Target has come out with a new skincare line, Versed. The Versed collection offers trend-forward products that are affordable, made with cleaner ingredients and are, above all, effective.

Speaking of sustainability…I loved the Retail Therapy Alternatives on Instagram from @manrepeller. If you don’t follow her, you are missing out! These retail therapy alternatives are the result of an interview that you can read here! It’s always good to find the humor in things…

I created several outfits from pieces already in my closet and I particularly liked this one! The jeans I’m wearing are at least 7 years old and still going strong! I’m linking similar pieces below!

I have been taking a supplement called Nutrafol for my hair and it’s working! My hair is getting thicker and breaking less. I’ve been taking it for a little over a month now and I am really seeing results. My hair has always been thick, so I’ve never worried much about losing all my hair, but I was worried because it started breaking off about 2 years ago and I’ve been struggling with it ever since. I wasn’t doing anything differently, and was taking such care to not put too much heat on it and not to wash and dry it too often, but nothing was helping. I used one supplement that seemed to help a little, but nothing like Nutrafol. The last time I washed and dried my hair, there wasn’t a pile of broken pieces in the floor which is a good sign. I’m taking the Women’s Balance which is formulated with ingredients to improve hair growth for women experiencing menopause.

Does anyone look at Tumblr anymore…I never stopped, but that’s just me! Anyway, I found the most amazing Tumblr called Clutter & Chaos. The images are amazing (like the one below), but it’s like going down the rabbit hole because…all of a sudden an hour has passed and you’re still obsessing over the beautiful images. Definitely worth an hour!

I highly recommend you watch Goop Lab on Netflix! Baldy and I watched two episodes…”What We Know About Psychedelics” (Baldy changed his mind about them!) and Healing and β€œCold Exposure, Breath Work and the Wim Hof Method”, over the weekend and were totally blown away by the topics and interesting content! Some of them are a little controversial, but I’m sure worth watching…just keep your mind open as you watch!

As you all know, Grace & Frankie has been one of my favorite series on Netflix since coming out. Baldy and I binge watched the new season and it was so good. It was so sad when we realized we had just watched the last episode! The thing I like the most about Grace & Frankie is that they cover topics ranging from sexuality to aging, to friendship and they do it with humor and also a few tears. I just love it all!

I’ve been obsessing over the home of dress designer Kim Bachmann. I love the color of her living room so much that I’m considering painting ours the same color!

Just in case you’re looking for a cute sweater for Valentine’s Day…this one is so cute…also love the less expensive one below!
