6 Winter to Spring Transitional Outfit Ideas

It’s cold, it’s warm…who knows from one day to the next what the temperature will be because it flip flops (at least here in North Carolina) . We had a couple of days with temperatures in the high 60’s and today, the high is 42. It’s impossible to know whether you need a sweater and boots or a short sleeve blouse and sandals! It’s only February, but I’m ready for Spring…but who knows what that will bring. I suppose the best we can do is to be prepared with some outfits that can transition from warm to cold and then from cold to warm again. Here are a few outfits that I’ve worn over the past couple of weeks that may help to inspire you to navigate this crazy weather more easily!

This outfit is such a simple one, yet the pieces themselves are so great that all together, they make more of a statement. β€œStatement” sleeves are a trend for 2020, and this sweater from Alexander Wang fits the bill. I added my tried and true skinny jeans from Citizens from Humanity (they are a little high waisted and fit me so well), a bag from Chloe that is from another season, but I still love it and over the knee boots. I really think that every woman should own a pair of over the knee or tall flat boots. They add an extra layer of warmth, they’re easy to walk in and they look great with so many things.

Grey jeans are a great alternative to regular denim and are just as versatile. The leopard sweater (similar here) is a lighter color and goes perfectly into spring. This whole outfit came from items in my closet but still looks current.

It took me a while to get with the camo trend, but now I’m all in. I have Spanx camo leggings, these great camo pants from Gap (sold out, but similar here), a camo sweater and a camo jacket. I’d say that’s probably enough camo for now. I do love the street style feel of camo pants with this top from Cabi that has a little lace around the neck and my Chloe booties…definitely worth the investment!

The bag is from Lancel and I bought it second hand. It’s become one of my favorites because it’s such a versatile color.

This picture was obviously taken on one of our warmer days! The jeans and blouse are great for spring and both from Loft. The booties are some of my favorites and are from Zara…I’m loving white booties with everything right now (similar here)!

This is my kind of outfit! Casual, comfortable and easy easy! I’ve been wearing these white jeans from Citizens of Humanity non-stop and here they’re paired with a sweater from Free People and sneakers from Sofft Shoes.

Transitional Outfit Idea - Crazy Blonde Life

The outfit I’m wearing above is so basic and I made it more interesting with my sandals and jewelry from Vahan Jewelry. Almost everyone has jeans, a white tee and a jacket of some kind to recreate this outfit! It really goes almost anywhere!

In my opinion, you can never have too much leopard! This outfit has turned out to be one of my favorites. The blouse is from Cabi as is the belt. Just add some leopard booties and dark grey jeans and you’re good to go!
