Write Your Own Fairy Tale
"Every year you close a new chapter in your story. Please...don't write the same one seventy five times and call it a life!"
Once upon a time...there was a girl who had a dream. Her life was full of many blessings, but there were a few things that weren't going exactly as she would have liked. Most days, she was able to focus mostly on the blessings and she chose to get up and put one foot in front of the other and keep working on making her dream come true. Some days, it was harder, but the Universe kept giving her a nudge, saying "everything will be fine - get up and live your life", and so she did. She decided one summer to mostly say yes to life and the adventure it had to offer, even though sometimes she had tears in her eyes. Many days, the sun came out and she made the most wonderful memories and she was never sorry that she said, YES!
Ha...I just felt like writing a fairy tale today! I'm sure you know that the girl in the story is me! My adventures took me to Washington D.C. this summer and I was fortunate to be hosted by the Ritz Carlton Washington D.C. I literally felt like a princess and they took such good care of me! I asked for some truffle fries and immediately they were in front of me...piping hot with ketchup, just the way I like them. Sometimes, you just have to get up and make the best of things, ask for what you want and keep on moving. This was such a lovely trip and I can't wait to go back, because as you can see I had a great time and I'm really craving more truffle fries!
I'm wearing the cutest summer jumpsuit by Heartloom. I paired it with a Cult Gaia bag and espadrilles for a breezy, crisp look. This is the perfect outfit for the last trip of the summer. I've linked the exact jumpsuit and bag and similar shoes.
"Keep going, That's all you have to do, ever. You really don't have to be amazing, or fierce or beautiful or successful or good. Just keep going, please. Slowly is fine. Crawling is fine. No feeling is final, except hope." ~ Glennon Doyle
