My Cabi Spring Coat

Black and white stripes and white jeans are such a crisp combination for Spring and this outfit couldn't be easier!  I bought this coat from Cabi several weeks ago and I'm just now pulling it out to wear.  I don't know what took me so long!  It's a very light weight coat and the 3/4 sleeves make it perfect for days when it's a little cool.  I paired it with this absolutely adorable bag from Stella & Dot!  This bag goes with everything and is so on trend and reasonably priced.  It's a fun summer accessory.  My shoes are by Chloe and I have worn them so much already.  Scroll down to see a better picture of the shoes.  They're like an open toe bootie and if you've been reading my blog at all, you know that I have a major obsession with booties.  I actually put on a pair of black espadrilles with this outfit in the beginning, but decided that I liked the tan better.  I think either would be fine.

I'm so happy it's finally porch season!  If the pollen would just go away, we could enjoy it so much more.  We have rain in the forecast tomorrow, so hopefully it will wash away some of the pollen.

I have a fun post coming tomorrow!  My friend Britt and I made Macaroni and Cheese for 300 people yesterday.  I rented a church kitchen and we spent the afternoon making mac and cheese.  I'm not sure that it's something I ever want to do again, but it was for a good cause!  I'm not sure why Britt agreed to help me, but I'm so happy that she did!  We both agree that one day it will make a really funny story.

Lauren, Chris and baby are coming on Thursday of this week and I'm so excited to see them.  They're going to a wedding so we get to keep Hudson for a night and spoil him rotten.  That same weekend, Lauren is throwing a bridal shower for Sarah and I have a Stella & Dot trunk show at the house!  Whew!  I'm going to be tired, and the next week is even crazier, AND involves a quick trip to NYC for a Create and Cultivate Conference!  I'm so excited to be with 600 other creative women and I can't wait to share my experience with you!
