Game Day Bloody Mary's
I love a good Bloody Mary and this recipe is so delicious with fresh tomatoes and lime and garnished with pickled okra and bacon! Prepare the tomato puree and fry the bacon the night before and serve for brunch or pack into a quart jar and have a tasty addition to your tailgate menu! I can't think of a better way to kick off the weekend!
We love pickled okra in the South and Wickles is my favorite kind! It is a little sweet and wicked hot!
A Bloody Mary Bar on the front porch or at your tailgate is a great way to start the festivities!
I like to serve Bloody Mary's in mason jars because they have a wide rim, leaving plenty of room for extras like bacon and pickled okra! Rim the glasses with a slice of lime and dip into a mixture of Maldon Sea Salt and Old Bay Seasoning.
I skewered the bacon while it was still warm and pliable.
The fresh tomatoes make all the difference in these Bloody Mary's!
Mr. Crazy would like it if I could figure out a way to make these Bloody Mary's Carolina Blue, but I don't think that's going to happen!
