HAPPY EASTER

This is our dining room table, set for Easter!  I love the way the sunlight makes everything sparkle.  We really started the festivities with dying eggs.  We used natural dies, tumeric, beets, tea, paprika and blueberries.  The colors are a little more muted that with store bought dye, but they really turned out beautifully!  The eggs are the centerpiece for Easter lunch along with tulips from the grocery store.

Saturday morning, we started off with brunch because Sarah's boyfriend, Will, had to leave.  He is in the Army and was only home for a short time.  We wanted to include him in some of the festivities!

We had pimento cheese grits, potato basil fritatta, bacon from Left Bank Butchery and mimosas.
