EASTER LUNCH

It was a dreary Easter Sunday here but we made the best of it!  The Easter Bunny paid us a visit and we had a delicious lunch and spent time with family!  It is so nice to have everyone home at the same time and really it's also really special to have the same Easter traditions year after year.  This was the first year that I didn't do Easter baskets for our girls...Hudson got all the Easter goodies and was totally the center of attention.

We always have Salmon at Easter and this year, I did a Parmesan crusted side of Salmon that just might be my favorite!  I also made sauteed asparagus with  leeks, Parker House Rolls and a Buttermilk Pie.  If you've never had Buttermilk Pie, you definitely should try it!  It's an old Southern recipe and always a bit hit!  My Sister Catherine, Lauren and Queen Britt also brought side dishes to round out the menu!  Queen Britt brought Deviled Eggs, they are a tradition that we can't do without!

It was so nice to have Rebecca home, it was the first time she's been home for Easter in a couple of years.  She had to leave right after lunch and that was sad, but we'll be going to Savannah for her graduation from Savannah College of Art and Design very soon!

This isn't the best picture of the salmon, but the Parmesan melted and made the most wonderful crust!  I've included the recipes below for all of the dishes that I made for our Easter lunch.

The Easter Bunny might have gotten a little carried away, but can you blame him?
