I first discovered a small clothing company called Bess & George a couple of years ago and have since fallen in love with this company and their clothing! Bess & George is so much more than just a clothing company. It was started by two women…Jen and Erin, because they wanted to give women better options for getting dressed. Options for women over the age of 40 to find flattering, stylish and high quality pieces.

I love white jeans with grey and this silvery shimmer light grey top adds just the right amount of sparkle. The drape neck is perfect with a statement necklace.

I wore this great metallic halter top so many times over the holidays. Sometimes, you just need a little sparkle to feel festive!

I still look for ways to wear my cowboy boots that I’ve had for more years than I can remember and they’re great styled with this fun floral shirtdress from Bess & George! This truly is an outfit for wearing almost all year long!

The picture below was taken in Asheville in the early fall. I wore the gold top out to dinner with black leather pants and loved it. I also wore it on New Year’s Eve, out to dinner and to the symphony. I think it’s ideal year round and will look just as good in the middle of summer as it did at the end of January.

The new Henley Dress (comes in 5 colors) is everyone’s dream dress because it literally goes anywhere. I’ve styled it with fun slouchy boots and a Gucci belt which is perfect for office, errands and just about anything!
