I thought long and hard about what to name this post and I came up with California Cool. My look here is so much fun and I will say, a little out of my box.

The sneakers were gifted to me by my favorite shoe store in Los Angeles…Madison Maison and I was determined to style them in a way that I would actually wear and enjoy them. At first, I will admit that I was a little skeptical, but after I started playing around with styling options, I really started to like the shoes and now, I’m in love with them! They are clearly not for every occasion (or for everyone) but they are so comfortable that I’m going to be looking for reasons to wear them!

Made from navy leather and lined with shearling, these sneakers are fabulously warm and cozy and perfect for casual fall style. I knew they would steal the show because of the bright colors and so I balanced them with a silver faux leather jacket on top that matches the silver zipper on the shoes. An equally flashy silver metallic bag just seemed to work, and the skinny distressed jeans and white tee pulled the whole look together! Metallics are great for times when you don’t necessarily want to match because they go with everything!
