For anyone out there who is over the skinny jean trend that’s been popular for so long, there is good news for spring…wide leg, or palazzo pants are trending and they are everywhere from magazines to street style blogs. I was somewhat skeptical of the trend, because I am not really over skinny jeans! Skinny jeans work well for my body type and I have so many pairs of them that my wardrobe would take a serious hit if I had to buy all new! I was curious, however, about how these pants would work with my short legs and short waisted torso, but I think I pulled it off.
This won’t turn into my every day uniform, but it is a nice look for a change.
Completely off the subject, but I’m doing a little survey at the end of this post and I would really appreciate if you would participate! Just keep scrolling to answer one simple question for me!!
These high-waisted pants are actually an easy item to wear because they seem to enhance every shape because the accent on the waist is flattering. I am going to try to have mine hemmed about an inch. I looked on some street style blogs and most of them are being worn very long, but I think it would be more comfortable and practical to have them just a touch shorter.
Now for the question. If you could pick a category to read about on Crazy Blonde Life, what would it be…fashion, inspiration, food, or a mix of the three weekly? I’m trying to do posts that appeal to everyone and I really want to know what you like. If there is something else, please let me know! Just leave me a quick comment in the box below! Thank you all for helping out!
Monday is starting a crazy week for me! I’m leaving for New York for just one night tomorrow and having dinner with some Fierce women and flying back on Wednesday. I’ll start cooking on Thursday for a special fundraiser that’s happening on Friday night here at our house. I’ll share it all on Crazy Blonde Life! Thanks so much for reading!

A mix of all three would be nice. I enjoy reading all the topics you cover.
Thanks so nice Melinda! I know you like healthy food! I appreciate your comment!
Love these jeans! You’ve styled them so fashion-forward, and you look fab. I prefer style and inspiration to food (I don’t cook) but plenty of people love foody things! xo

Thanks Patti! I think most people are like you judging from my analytics, but I like everyone’s opinion! Have a great week!
Favorites are always fashion and inspiration – a mix of both.
Thank you Michelle! I think that’s going to be the consensus!
You are singing my song with these jeans! I love them! I just got a pair of wide legs with a petal hem the splits up to almost the knee that I am going to try to style. They are a little too big so I may have to return but it will be fun trying first. Great post as always!

Thank you Jodie! They will be fun to style different ways this spring!
Good Morning!
I love the posts- really all! I suppose I gravitate toward the food and fashion, but enjoy reading all. Love the wider leg with the striped top. I have a pair of wider flares. The raw hem is so cute too. Id like to try frame jeans sometime.
Stop by when you can
Have a great week!

Good morning!
I love whatever you post but enjoy your fashion the most. I do like the variety of your blog and have enjoyed your videos. I also am a huge cabi addict and looking forward to seeing what you like in the Spring line. I think our style is similar as I had the same pieces you had for the fall cabi line and enjoy seeing how you wear them.
Thanks for being an inspiration!
Patricia
OMG! I love everything in the spring line! It’s all so cute…I can’t decide so I’m afraid of what I’ll spend! I’m so glad you like the videos! I have a new one coming out, it’s food, but I’ll do a fashion one soon. I think most people like fashion the best! Thanks for commenting!
I wear skinny jeans more them any other style in colder weather (great for tucking in boots) but I do like to mix it up occasionally. These wide legged jeans look great on you! I enjoy all of your posts but fashion posts are my favourite.

Thank you so much for commenting! I’m the same way with the jeans! Skinny jeans are so much like leggings and you can move so easily in them! Hope your day is good!
I enjoy inspiration, food and fashion in that order.
I love food too! I will keep posting recipes as well as fashion!
I love high-waist flare jeans, and every time I wear them someone comments on their retro vibe. =D This wide-legged pair looks fabulous with your striped shirt.
I hope you are having a great week so far!

I didn’t think I would like them, but when I put them on I really did! They do feel very retro to me because I remember them the first time around!
I love love wide bell-bottom jeans like yours and the fact that yours are frayed makes these even cooler. I love them with the striped bell-sleeve blouse. And I bet you had a great time and looked fabulous in New York too, Suzanne.
I’d love to see ALL 3 categories like you, but of course I like fashion the most. Welcome by this Thursday and every Thursday to join my style linkup, fashionista! Thanks, Ada. =)
