Until last year, when my daughter Lauren became a Stella & Dot Stylist, I had never heard of Stella & Dot.  Since then, of course, I have had several trunk shows, and bought and earned quite a bit of Stella & Dot products.  Up to now, they have sold jewelry, leather goods, scarves and sunglasses with recently added sarongs and tunics.  The big surprise is that they are adding a fabulous line of tops that will be available on August 3.  The even bigger surprise is that they will be announcing a collaboration with Rebecca Minkoff very soon.  I have loved Rebecca Minkoff bags and shoes for years and I am so excited to see all of the new additions to Stella & Dot.

Stella and Dot was started by Jessica Herrin in her living room in 2003.  Since then, Blythe Harris has joined her and they have turned the small startup into a multimillion dollar business.  The company allows stylists to create their own home-based businesses with the flexibility to choose when, where and how often they work.   Lauren has really enjoyed the flexibility that allows her to earn money and also be home with Hudson.
