These dreamy images are from a picnic on Bald Head that I’ve been wanting to do since last summer.  Life just doesn’t get any better than this..a bottle of wine, some really fabulous cheese and a beautiful sunset.  Any time I’m feeling bad, I take myself back to this evening and all of the stress just melts away.  It’s so important to take the time to create beauty in your life, to do what brings you joy and to cultivate a zest for life.  This sunset was magical and brought so much joy.  I hope you enjoy and are inspired to take some time to fill your life with beautiful memories.

This picnic was very easy to assemble.  The cheese board was put together at the house and everything else went in the picnic basket.  I brought a large blanket, melamine plates and the colorful scarf from Héliquadrisme just made everything look beautiful.  My blouse is by Ulla Johnson from last season.  If you haven’t discovered Ulla Johnson, I’m sure you’ll love the clothes.  They are artful and beautiful.  I’m also wearing my favorite distressed J Brand white jeans.   I’ve linked a few picnic necessities below in case you’re inspired to have a picnic, wherever you may be!
