I’m starting to think beyond the first days of fall, and these fabulous fall fashion finds have me looking forward to colder weather. Think beautiful coats, plush textures and sweaters worth wrapping up in. Thanksgiving is already creeping into my thoughts, and I’m craving a little cozy. But what excites me most about fashion right now is the color. Chartreuse with rich purple or deep chocolate brown feels so fresh, and there’s a freedom to combining things that makes getting dressed fun again. Lace and lingerie-inspired pieces bring a feminine touch to heavier fall layers, while fringe adds movement to everything from sweaters to bags…probably the easiest way to work it into an outfit. Add colorful, artsy jewelry and a little leopard and a few sequins…they aren’t just for nighttime anymore, and you have plenty of ways to make these pieces your own. These are the things catching my eye now, with colder days and a few holiday plans in mind. They’ll be here before you know it!

Now I just need the weather to catch up with my shopping mood. I’m ready for a chilly evening, a dinner invitation and a reason to pull out a fabulous coat. Until then, I’ll happily wear the fringe and sequins with jeans. No sense waiting for the holidays to have a little fun getting dressed!
