One thing that I know for sure is that time goes by so quickly. It’s easy to get caught up in “activity”, in being busy for the sake of being busy, but it’s so important to make each moment count.

Now , about the dress…Topshop has become one of my favorite brands for several reasons. The first being that the clothing is fashion forward and fun, but here’s an interesting fact about the company…the creative director, Kate Phelan is 50! At 50 years old Kate swears by high street fashion, like the clothing and accessory options sold at Topshop. Just goes to show that you can pull off anything you have the confidence to put on…no mater your age! I love support women in midlife who are doing amazing things! Another, reason for loving Topshop is that it’s so affordable!

I ordered this dress several months ago when I was planning for vacation. I knew it would be perfect for the beach and I was right! It has an asymmetrical hemline that hangs just a little lower in the back and I love the tropical print!

If you decide to order most anything clothing wise from Topshop, order a size up because everything runs small.

Today, is my youngest daughter Sarah’s last day at Bald Head. I’m so sad to see her leave. The goodbyes are the hard part of summer. We’ve made some good memories and spent time together as a family, but I just never want it to end.
