It looks like the theme for this week is becoming all about neutrals! We all have so many neutral pieces in our closets and at the top of that list in my opinion is a denim jacket. Denim jackets are one of the most versatile pieces of clothing you can own because much like a pair of jeans, a denim jacket is light enough to wear on a warm spring day but warm enough to get you through the coolest parts of fall…or spring!
I’ve paired this jacket with a pair of olive green paper bag waist pants (another spring trend), a white v-neck tee, a tortoise shell bag and the cutest mules. This outfit would be perfect in the fall as well, which is one of the best things about neutral pieces! AND speaking of neutrals, I’ve created a Pinterest Board with some great ideas on putting together neutral outfits – I’ll keep adding to it because we all need a little inspiration from time to time!

I am loving all the paper bag pants, but they don’t love my short waisted body. The shorter denim jacket is really cute and I think I need to find one that’s a little more cropped…again, especially being short waisted. Great transitional look!

I’m really short waisted as well! These pants don’t hit me at my waist but just a little lower which is why I think they work on me. If I find others that hit a little lower, I’ll definitely post them! So ready for spring weather!
