It’s a bold color…yellow demands attention. It’s eye catching, a statement-maker and a head-turner – but marigold yellow can be a hard color trend to take advantage of. It does seem that eventually, we’ll all be sporting it in some way, because this color is everywhere! Spring colors are normally pastels—shades of yellow, green, pink, blue, and purple that are so refreshing after the dark colors of winter, but the collections arriving in stores right now may inspire you to go a little bolder for Spring 2019  with golden yellows, lime greens, and bright oranges instead. I’ve styled my marigold coat (very old, but still great) with a polka dot blouse (another big spring trend), black jeans, a Tory Burch bag and my red Valentino Rockstuds. Adding the shoes just gave this outfit one more element of interest as does the scarf tied around my bag. I tried it around my neck and it seemed a little much for me!
