Yesterday, my day was spent coming up with outfit ideas and making a new YouTube video. As you all know, I’ve been cleaning out my closet and there are so many pieces that I haven’t worn in years. Mostly it’s because the closet is so unorganized and I can’t see what I have. I’ve been trying to be very selective in the things I’m keeping and also to put together outfits with them. The video is coming next week and it focuses on booties and how to wear them. I have no shortage of booties and love to wear them with everything, so I decided to pair my booties with some of the pieces that have been buried in the back of the closet and give them a new look. I hope you’ll enjoy this one!

The jacket I’m wearing isn’t one of the pieces that I’ve had in the back of the closet…it’s hard to hide this one because of the embellishment. I found it in Nashville last year and I’ve loved it in sooo much! Usually I wear it with jeans in a very casual way, but today, I styled it with a very sheer black blouse, black leather pants and I added vintage pearls. I would wear this out to dinner or if I had an occasion that I wanted to feel a little dressed up for during the day. The point is to try to mix things up a little and wear clothes in unexpected ways.

Since the jacket is from last year, I couldn’t find the exact one, but I found one that is pretty fabulous!
