Happy 4th of July!  It feels like this holiday really snuck up on me!  In past years, I’ve been all about having a party…making lots of potato salad and other side dishes and cooking something on the grill.  Every year is different however and this year, I’ll just be hanging out on the porch at the beach reading a good book and that doesn’t sound half bad to me!

I thought I would share a quick outfit idea for July 4th.  The dress I’m wearing came from Loft last year.  I picked it up while in Nashville visiting Sarah and it’s been one of my favorites.  It’s a cool crisp stripe with a cutout in the back that lets the breeze blow through.  I paired it with a Tory Burch bucket bag and Tory Burch wedges that I’ve had for several years.  If you wanted to go more red, white and blue, you could totally add a red bag to jazz this outfit up for the holiday!  I usually throw on a pair of heels but flats would be perfect as well, especially for a casual dinner at the beach.
