Summertime is always the best of what might be!
Yesterday at Bald Head Island was the most glorious day I can possibly describe! The humidity was low, the sky was blue and the temperature was absolutely perfect! We spent time on the beach playing in the water, reading and walking. I finally started to relax…it takes a little while!
Rebecca took these pictures of Hudson and me yesterday afternoon and then we all went out to dinner and watched the sun set in the harbor.

It looks like you’re having a wonderful time! I love your outfit and especially that adorable “accessory” in your arms and holding your hand! Seeing these photos has made me reconsider my plans for when I come to NC in August. I think a few days by the coast are in order for my daughter and myself, after I help get her settled in her new apartment and before she starts her last semester at App State! First I guess I should check the weather in August. Is it hurricane season then? I’m a west coast gal, don’t know about those things! Anyway, I’m going to look into it right away, and then see what I can come up with!

Bald Head Island is a very peaceful and beautiful island, but it is also sooo hot in August. If you don’t mind the heat, I know you would have a great time here…there is usually a breeze on the beach which makes it more bearable. I don’t think hurricane season starts until September. Let me know what you decide or if you need any help! Have a great weekend!

My husband and I have been to BHI once, and I loved it. It is quiet and just a beautiful area. I love these pictures, look at your little grandson having fun, how sweet! I love your outfit, espcially the shorts, you look great! and perfect beachy waves for your hair 🙂
