This morning, I woke up at 6:30 am and tried to talk myself out of getting up to go to a yoga class!  My husband, encouraged me to go, and I’m so glad that I listened to him and got up!  The class that I went to was no ordinary class…it was a special, open to the public, free class, at the Burlington Royals baseball stadium given by Feel Better Burlington Yoga.  The sky was cloudy and I wondered as I was driving if I was going to be doing yoga in the rain!  As I arrived, I was greeted by my friend Holly Treadwell, who owns The Blend and Co. Coffee shop.  She was there with her amazing coffee truck to help everyone wake up!  

I entered the stadium with my mat and spread it out along with many many other people, some who had never done yoga before!  It truly was one of the best yoga classes I have ever taken!  Being outside under the cloudy sky with so many other people sharing breath and pushing ourselves past what we thought we could do was such a great experience!

 Thank you Shelley Roupas for having the vision to bring us all together this morning!  It is true that happiness is found in the here and now and you reminded me of that in such a beautiful way!

I stood up several times during the class to take pictures so I could share with you all on this post!

We started the class in childs pose and began to become aware of our breath.  I got chills just thinking about the power of that!
