I’m at the beach now and the BlogHer Conference is still so much on my mind.  I made so many friends and contacts and learned so much!  Talking about who I am and what is important in my life is more important to me now than ever..  I am at a time in my life where things are changing so quickly and I know that I’m not alone in this!  I hope that you will be able to relate to me on my journey no matter what your age!  

I was greeted with this beautiful sign as I was waiting in line to register.  At this point, I was really nervous because I didn’t know a soul!

By the time Chelsea Clinton and Richards spoke, I had made some friends and was thoroughly enjoying myself!  They spoke about the proposed cuts to Planned Parenthood and how devastating that will be for women.  I truly believe that all women benefit from Planned Parenthood.  It is comforting to me to know that women that can’t afford their own doctor can go to Planned Parenthood and get the healthcare that they need.  The funding for Planned Parenthood is in serious jeopardy and I believe, that as women, we should educate ourselves on what Planned Parenthood actually provides and support it!  This is just my opinion, so if you don’t agree, I respect that.

On a lighter note, one of the vendors at BlogHer was Day Owl Rose.  This is a delicious Rose from California.  Who doesn’t love free wine!

Carla Hall was one of our keynote speakers and she was there to sign her new cookbook and she took pictures with EVERYONE!  She is so friendly and so tall…and we both love espadrilles!

My sweet friend from Russia had on these beautiful Sophia Webster shoes!  There was so much fabulous fashion at BlogHer!

Serena Williams was an amazing speaker and she is very pregnant!

Plant Nite was one of the BlogHer sponsors.  This was their adorable booth!  Plant Nite holds social gardening events at local bars.  It’s called creative entertainment!  Go in for a drink and leave with a pot full of succulents!

I will definitely go to BlogHer next year!  I can’t wait to reconnect with some of the people that I met and learn even more about how to be a better blogger!
