It doesn’t get any more Southern that chess pie and you’ll love this lemon flavored version!  It’s a very rich sweet pie so it’s best to serve small slices.  The best thing about this recipe is that it comes together in about 10 minutes and everyone loves it!  I made a berry sauce to go with it, but it’s great on it’s own or with fresh raspberries and whipped cream.

I served the pie on vintage glass plates that I found at a local antique store.  The recipe came from a cookbook that I received as a gift in 1983!  I hope you’ll try this delicious pie and let me know how you like it!
