This past weekend was very special for us because my aunt and uncle came to visit us in our new home in Atlanta, Georgia!  We were so excited to see them, especially Hudson. He calls them “Uncle” and “Aunt Caca”.

We showed them around the area and took them to Wills Park, Hudson’s favorite place to play.  Then we had a great dinner at South Main Kitchen in downtown Alpharetta.  If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!  It’s warm and cozy and the food is delicious!

We started with the Brussels Sprouts with bacon, feta and ginger and blood orange vinaigrette.  They were so good!

Salmon with cauliflower puree, broccoli rabe, charred pearl onions, pickled fennel slaw, and blood orange beurre blanc

Pork Osso Buco with cheddar grits, broccoli rabe, pearl onions, mushrooms, rosemary pan sauce, and orange jalapeno gremolata

Pork chop with potato, butternut squash, sausage, cauliflower, kale, mushroom gravy, caramelized onion, and apple compote

Springer Mountain Chicken with sweet potato puree, Brussels sprouts, sausage, parsnip, kumquat, and blood orange beurre blanc

We can’t wait to have Suze come visit this Friday so that we can show her around and discover some fun new places!

Thank you so much to Lauren for doing this post!  I am so excited to go and see all of them on Friday in Atlanta!  I’m leaving early in the morning so I don’t miss a minute of being with my precious Hudson!  I’ll fill you in on everywhere we go!  We already have appointments at Dry Bar for blow outs (not Hudson) and reservations at several restaurants!  It’s going to be so hard to leave, but they’ll be home for Easter and I have a huge Easter egg hunt planned!
