This week started with the exciting announcement of my new website BySuzanne!  It has been in the works for some time and it felt good to finally have it live.  I hope you will visit the site and let me know what you think.

As always, my favorite things involve my family!  Lauren sent this picture of Hudson last night and it made me miss him even more!  He’s probably watching Friends, it’s his favorite…he looks like such a big boy.  I love how he’s propped up on his elbows!

I had my hair color done this week and my friend and very talented hair stylist, Tonia made it look so pretty.  I wish I could go every day!  There is nothing like getting your hair done…it just makes you feel so good!

I catered a bridesmaids luncheon this week and the cake was the entertainment.  It was made with cake pulls underneath.  The bridesmaids each pulled a cake pull that had a charm on the end.  Each of the charms represent something, such as luck, a baby in the future, etc.  They all kept the pulls to tie around their bouquets the next day at the wedding.  It’s a tradition that I hope to do at more bridesmaids events!

It’s good to remember that life can be VERY amazing, we just have to look for the good and be grateful for what we have!

This crudite basket is the perfect beautiful appetizer for spring.  Pile on as many veggies as you like, hollow out a cabbage and fill with delicious dip!  Easy and healthy!

This salad is so pretty and different!  Roasted crispy cauliflower, kale, marcona almonds, mint, blood oranges and Castelvetrano Olives.  If you’ve never tried these olives you are missing out.  The salad is dressed with a little olive oil and a squeeze of lemon.  The combination is perfect!
