Burlington is a small town, and when something new opens, everyone knows about it because in a small town, everything new is a big deal!  Recently, Smitty’s Ice Cream opened in our historic downtown and every time I go by, it’s packed!  Smitty’s is an adorable ice cream shop located very close to our home near Burlington’s historic district.  This was my first visit to Smitty’s since they’ve been opened and I was so impressed!  The shop was packed and it was a beautiful day so people were sitting outside eating their ice cream and enjoying the weather. 

There were so many ice cream flavors to choose from, and I chose everyone’s favorite, chocolate chip, but then wondered if I should have gotten my next favorite, coffee.  I guess I’ll have to go back and try all the flavors!

I thought this cute light blue cold shoulder top by Karina Grimaldi was a perfect choice for ice cream eating, or a Carolina football game.  I paired it with grey Frame Denim jeans and black Sam Edelman booties (similar here).  I’ll also wear this sweater with white jeans!
