We have all been hearing for quite a while that navy is the new black, but there are some black fanatics who just don’t want to believe it.  Black is flattering because it goes with everything and you know it won’t go out of style.  However, it’s time to stop worrying that navy is a fad, because it is here to stay and it has made its way into Spring 2016 in a big way.  Navy looks great with tan and black or even brights such as lime green, orange and red!

If you’ve looked at my blog much, you know by now that I love distressed denim and this pair by Rag and Bone is among my favorite pairs.  I put them together with a classic blazer by Theory, a simple white shirt,  older Michael Kors shoes (similar here) and a really fabulous Marc Jacobs bag, .  Obviously white jeans would look great also.

The two colors of navy are different, but I think go really well together.

Here is another example of navy and tan worn by Damsel in Dior.  Bandanas are huge right now and add the right amount of punch to so many outfits!

Just a little navy inspiration!  I love the black sweater with the navy blazer!
