SATURDAY AT KEENAN STADIUM

01

We (my husband and I) and my sister Catherine and her husband Gene went to the UNC vs UVA football game on Saturday at Keenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.  It was a beautiful day, the weather was perfect!  We had a great time watching the game from the Blue Zone and then had dinner at Elaine’s on Franklin.  We have been going to Elaine’s for as long as I can remember and it never disappoints.

The picture below is of the Bell Tower on the UNC campus.  It was taken from our seats in the Blue Zone!

I always have trouble deciding what to wear to the games because I don’t wear a lot of Carolina blue and I thought this Joie top was the perfect solution!

We had to stop in the sportswear shop to buy a little something for baby Hudson!

A great view of Elaine’s on Franklin.  We love to sit at the bar for dinner and have a Basil Mojito…they are the best!  They also have some outdoor seating that we enjoy when the weather is nice.

I had the trout and it was fabulous!

And a chocolate mousse!  We were very full!!  Everyone else dug in before I could get pictures of their food but I can tell you, the softshell crab was to die for!

It was a great day in Chapel Hill!  I hope your Saturday was the best!  And by the way UNC won the game!
