How to Mix Leopard With a Print

01

I’ll admit that I’ve gotten inspired to mix up my style after watching “And Just Like That”! I loved the fashion and decided to shake things up a bit so I got busy in my closet! It’s so easy to get into a fashion rut and wear the same things over and over, however, being creative when getting dressed can be so much fun!

We’ve all heard that leopard is a neutral, but some careful consideration still needs to happen when mixing leopard with a print.

You can mix leopard, stripes and florals in one outfit or wear two different prints together. When combining prints, make sure to choose one color in the print that matches the leopard and also make sure the colors are the same intensity. For example, you wouldn’t want to wear a pastel print with the coat in my pictures. If you want to get technical about the colors, you can match 3 prints that have colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. You could also add accessories in prints such as shoes, bags, belts and scarves. Have fun with this and create your own unique personal style!

When planning this outfit, I noticed the brown in the blouse and chose the coat based on that.

Here are a few examples that I’m loving with print mixing!

I’m excited to continue to mix things up going into spring and I hope you’re inspired to do the same!
