Understated for Valentine's Day - In the Spirit of Love

I’m not much for in-your-face Valentine’s Day outfits…although some may think this outfit is OTT! I do, however like to celebrate the season and a day of LOVE is certainly something to celebrate!

Pink and red are the colors of the moment and I’m having a moment with my red shoes from Roger Vivier! I purchased them over the holidays while in New York and have worn them so many times! They are timeless and I will keep them forever! The platform makes them comfortable and they can be worn with everything and give an element of WOW! I’m feeling a little bit of wow today…very energized and red is such an appropriate color!

The cute tee is from Michael Stars and it was a small investment for celebrating Valentine’s Day! It looks cute under a cardigan, as I have it styled here or under a blazer! I’m a jeans girl through and through so these flares from Citizens of Humanity are perfect for me! They are cropped (ankle) so the length is right for my height and the shoes (definitely want the shoes to stand out).

Another standout element of the outfit is the silver jewelry from Lois Hill Jewelry (see.boutique below). This jewelry is globally inspired and exquisitely made! I love to stack the bracelets and love the length of the silver chain necklace! Be sure to visit the website to see the whole collection because there are so many things to choose from! Any of these pieces would make great Valentine’s Day gift!

My jacket was purchased from Cabi last season and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn it and a Dior tote completes the look! I’ve linked lots of pieces below at different price points so be sure to keep scrolling!

Yesterday was such a fun day for me! I created a huge board pairing cheese and chocolate and took lots of pictures and made a YouTube video! I definitely ate way too much of all of it, but it was very delicious and the flavor combinations were interesting….think spicy chili chocolate and gouda with peppers and truffle thick cut potato chips with bacon-bourbon chocolate and farmhouse aged cheddar. I’ll be sharing this post over the weekend and I think you’ll love it!

Happy February to everyone and PLEASE don’t forget to leave a comment! Sending out lots of love!
