Travel & The Crazy Blonde Show

The more I travel, the more I love to travel and the more I appreciate home! I’m sitting at a table at a rooftop bar in Los Angeles as I write this post and it is so amazing! It’s a perfect, non humid 75 degrees, the sun is shining and the people watching is interesting to say the least!

But…I miss my home, my crazy husband, and my sweet pup! My trip has just begun and I haven’t even checked into my room yet! I know I’m going to have the time of my life but I’ll be so happy to be home!

May is such a beautiful month…my birthday month and everything is so green right now! At home, the peonies are blooming (and I’m missing them), the hydrangeas are getting ready to start blooming and my gardenia is so full of buds that it’s getting ready to fall over!

While I was uploading these pictures, it really hit me just how blessed I am! I’m sure I’ll never stop traveling because I believe it stretches me in ways that nothing else does and I love meeting new friends, but after being gone, home never looked so good!

Sometimes I wonder who the start of the Crazy Blonde Show really is and I’ve pretty much decided it’s Amos! He does insist on being in every picture he can and he is always so much cuter than me! But…he can’t wear these gorgeous clothes from Brochu Walker!

As you know, Brochu Walker is one of my favorite brands for many reasons…the first being that the clothes are beautiful, wearable and so well made! Secondly, as a company, they are very conscious of their environmental footprint, which is important to me.

This gorgeous blue shirt dress is one I’ll be wearing all summer long! I love the shirttail hem and the blouson sleeves and it’s great with flats and heels and also comes in several other colors, including a gorgeous tangerine! One and done dresses make it so easy to be ready and out the door in no time!

When I first pulled this dress out of the box, I was unsure of how it would look on me, but wow, I fell in love with it. I styled it with flats to begin with, but then had the idea to put on the fabulous platform sandals pictured. I love it both ways, but the heels are my favorites…not so practical, but really fun! This is a dress to wear everywhere and as you can see, is easily transformed with a change of shoes (see below)!

I’ve accessorized with a cuff bracelet from Julie Vos, a fabulous bead bracelet from Tamera Beardsley, a glass of wine in a beautiful handmade glass from Haand, and peonies from my garden…my sandals are several years old from Valentino (similar here)! I do so hope there a few left when I get home! They smell like heaven and are so pretty!

This outfit is classic Coastal Grandmother style and I’m totally here for it! These pieces are so elegant and effortless when styled together, but they are also very versatile separates that I’ll wear all summer long! The lightweight sweater has a relaxed fit and an open weave and the tailored linen pants are so chic

…and there he goes again! Trying to steal the show! What in the world would I ever do without this dog!
