One of the contexts that I’m holding for my life in 2023 is to really spend quality time with my grandsons and last Sunday, we made Valentine’s Day Chex Mix together!

We’ve all had some form of this Chex mix and it is undoubtedly delicious and completely kid friendly! Graham (the little one), Hudson (the big one), and I made a large mess, ate too much sugar and had a great time…and then, I sent them home to ride out the sugar rush with their parents! Just as it should be!

I’m including the recipe below…just in case you need a refresher! This really is a pretty delicious snack and it’s festive for Valentine’s Day. We ended up putting scoops of this mix into cellophane bags and tying them with a pink ribbon for the boys to give as Valentine’s to their friends. We made a memory and for that I am very grateful! My house was trashed, everything was covered with chocolate and Amos ate way too many M&M’s…it was a good day!
