Life Lessons I Learn Over and Over...
I saw the list below on The Champagne Diet yesterday and couldn’t get it off my mind. It has taken me the better part of a lifetime to come to value myself but there are still days when you would never know it. There are days when I don’t feel confident, days when I don’t trust myself at all and want everyone’s approval. It’s on those days when I make all the wrong decisions and say yes when I really want to say no. It’s on those days when I feel stuck and think I’m spinning my wheels and dredge up every bad thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s on those days when I feel completely sorry for myself and eat a bag of cookies. Just because I have one of “those” days, doesn’t mean I don’t value myself, because those days are the exception and not the rule. I think accepting that every now and then, you’ll have one of those days and forgiving yourself is all part of valuing yourself!

10 Things Women Who Value Themselves Do Differently
They confidently ask for what they want
They listen to their gut and trust themselves
They don’t seek the approval of others
They don’t make decisions in a low vibration
They create clear boundaries and communicate them
They move forward even if nobody understands their vision
They do not make excuses for themselves or for anyone else
They don’t allow their past to determine their future
They don’t put their happiness in the hands of someone else
They know their worth and do not settle for less than what they deserve
On the day these pictures were taken, I was feeling pretty good, but freezing my butt off! I’m wearing the cutest sweatshirt (50% off if you buy three tops) from Loft with Citizens of Humanity skinny jeans, Adidas sneakers and my Les Petits Joueurs Love Bag. Sadly, the bag isn’t available now, but I’ve found a few others below that will work well! This outfit is simple, but sometimes, simple is best!
