Spring Outfit Inspiration - 16 Outfits I’ve Worn This Spring
The weather here in North Carolina has been unusually cool for spring! I don’t remember a year when it’s been so cool so far into the season. By last year this time, I had been wearing dresses and sandals for several weeks but I’m still pulling out my sweaters at this point.
I’m definitely ready for spring and summer weather but somehow I’ve managed (wink wink) to find a few cute things to wear this spring! Today, I’m rounding up my favorite outfits for cool spring weather…some you may have seen and some, maybe not! Either way, here they are…all in one place! I hope you find a little inspiration!
Vests are a huge trend this year and a trend that I’m here for! This cute vest from Veronica Beard is so versatile and it’s perfect with a blouse underneath styled with jeans and also great on it’s own. I also purchased the trousers that match the vest and wore both pieces together while I was in Los Angeles. It was a very chic and sophisticated look! I think this vest is timeless.
This buttery soft jacket from Boston Proper has been just the thing for the cool spring evenings. I also have this jacket in a cream color and a light blue and love all three. The little sequined clutch is a perfect match for the jacket and dresses up the outfit. I would wear this to a nice dinner or lunch. The white jeans are so flattering and the fit is amazing. The bracelet I’m wearing is handmade by Tamera Beardsley and is one of my favorite things ever! I’ve been following Tamera on Instagram for many years and I finally had the opportunity to meet her in California. She is just as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. Be sure to take a look at her website to see her other designs. Any of these pieces would make a thoughtful gift that would be treasured for years to come!
Farm Rio is one of my favorite brands for gorgeous and affordable dresses! I have several long sleeve maxi dresses that I wear often every spring and this is one of them. It’s so easy to throw on a fabulous dress and a pair of wedges and be ready in a flash! This dress is no longer available but I’ve linked some of my Farm Rio favorites below.
One of my unexpectedly favorite dresses of the season! Sometimes, you just have to try things on before you decide if you like them or not and this dress from Brochu Walker is one of those pieces. It doesn’t look like much on the hanger, but it’s so well made and the cut is so flattering that it’s a wow when you put it on! This one will be on heavy rotation all summer long and the tangerine color (shown below) is on my list as well!
These neutral pieces from Boston Proper are from last season and are still pieces I reach for often. The linen top (which comes in a multitude of colors) is great with a cardigan over and I just love how the belt (almost identical here) and shoes (very similar here) pull the whole outfit together!
Ulla Johnson has been a favorite brand for years and I wanted this dress the minute I saw it! The fit is amazing and it’s flattering and feminine at the same time. I paired it with Marc Fisher raffia platform sandals and a Cult Gaia bag that I’ve had for years!
To say I’m obsessed with Madison Maison shoes may be an understatement! I love the loafers, the boots and the sneakers. These are honestly the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn and the red with a pink star on the side makes the so fabulous. I wear them way too often. If you purchase shoes directly from the Madison Maison site, you can use code Blonde15 to receive 15% off your purchase.
You can’t go wrong with denim and these flares from Veronica Beard have an amazing fit and the wash is a classic denim wash that you’ll wear all year long. The top is also from Veronica Beard and no longer available, but I’ve linked similar ones that are fabulous. The bag, is well…gorgeous and one that I’ll keep forever!
A lightweight black silk cardigan is a wardrobe essential in my opinion. This cropped one is ideal to throw on over a tee, but also looks fabulous with white pants. My cropped jeans are from AYR and I’m sure you know by now that they are the best jeans I’ve ever worn. They have the perfect amount of stretch and I love the fit!
I’m just waiting for a warm night when I can wear this dress from Boston Proper again! I love the pink and white and it is perfectly in style right now, but did shift dresses ever really go out of style?! I don’t normally wear scarves in my hair but I’ve found that it’s such a stylish way to keep your hair out of your face (and your lip gloss) at the beach!
This fabulous set from Cabi is one I’ll wear all season long! Both pieces are so versatile and can be worn with many other pieces you probably already have in your wardrobe! The blouse is slightly cropped but can still be easily tucked in. The shorts would be perfect with a simple black tank or tee and I’ve worn these Gucci sandals endlessly since I got them…they’re perfect for all seasons!
I purchased this two piece set a couple of years ago and still love it. It’s no longer available but I found a few cute ones that are linked below.
Boston Proper really nailed it with their spring/summer collection this year! This amazing dress would be flattering on most anyone and the classic styling makes it one that you’ll wear for years to come!
Another dress from Brochu Walker that looks so much more flattering on. Style this summer dress with heels or flats…either way, it’s one you’ll live in!
These jeans from Citizens of Humanity are ones I’ve reached for often. I love the light wash for spring and summer and the wide leg is right on trend and so flattering. I wear them with heels to make my legs look longer. My v-neck sweater is from Brochu Walker and a such a great weight for spring…it also looks great styled with linen pants.
These adorable white loafers have been a best seller for me! I never wear them when I don’t get compliments! They are a little unexpected, affordable, so cute and very comfortable. The denim shorts are from Cabi and the sweatshirt/sweater is from Brochu Walker and is another piece that I’ve lived in. The bag is from J.W. Anderson (very similar here) and so cute for spring and summer! My sun glasses are Gucci and I’ve had them for so long that they may be considered vintage at this point…these are similar and I’ve linked a less expensive pair in the boutique below.
Goodness this post took forever! I hope you find it helpful to have lots of outfit inspo in one place!
I’ve been babysitting my sweet granddaughter Stella today and I’ve working during her naps! It’s so nice to spend time with her and get to know her as her personality starts to really come out! She’s quite a little princess and so much fun!
