My Spring Edit

I know it’s officially still winter, but the weather is warming up and I’m anticipating warmer weather and everything that comes with it! I’m looking forward to filling my planters with flowers, eating alfresco lunches, sitting on the front porch with coffee or a glass of wine and finally being warm again! This post is all about the things that I’m looking forward to for the coming season!

When I think about warmer weather and spring clothes, I immediately want to have an instant tan so a good self tanner is important but…I’m allergic to most of them. I just ordered this one from Amazon and it’s supposed to be hypoallergenic. We’ll see…

I also like to switch up my makeup and go from deeper tones to brighter blushes and lipsticks and use a little more bronzer. Nars makes one of my favorite bronzers and I’ve been using the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick for as long as I can remember. When it comes to lips, Dior Addict makes my favorite sheer pinks and I love this lip balm from Buxom. I even went a little blonder with my hair color last week…in honor of Spring!

I love to open the windows and let the outside in and there is nothing quite like a good spring cleaning with products from The Laundress to get our home smelling fresh and sparkling! The Laundress products are all natural and have the best clean scent.

Ordering an air fryer was one of the best things I could have done to get swimsuit ready (other than working out). I’ve been making everything from salmon to Brussels Sprouts…everything is delicious and healthy! I think everyone needs one so keep checking back for a blog post - coming soon!

I’m so excited about my upcoming trip to Germany to visit my sweet grandson Bristol. Since I’m traveling alone across the globe, I want to pack lightly but still take enough to look put together if we’re able to go on any day trips. I’ve purchased this bag to hold all my necessities and make travel easier.

I’ve just redone my bar cart with the help of a friend and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Get my tips on how to style your bar cart here!

Easter is just around the corner and so is our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Now that we have grandsons, I like to add some fun Easter decor and so I purchased this and this from Pottery Barn. I’ve decided to make my (somewhat famous) Baked Salmon for lunch along with roasted potatoes, green beans (the recipes are in this post) and Mac & Cheese for the boys. These basic white baking dishes from William Sonoma are easy to serve from and so pretty. My wine of choice for just about any meal is Sauvignon Blanc and this one (Invivo) from Sarah Jessica Parker is my new favorite!

My table will be set with chIna purchased last year from a vintage store and I always add fresh flowers.

I also have my eye on this fabulous floral dress because if you read my post yesterday, you know that florals are trending for spring.

April showers bring May flowers and a good umbrella is important. Why ruin a beautiful pastel outfit with a black umbrella…this one would be a much better option!

You can never go wrong with off-white jeans because they go with everything and the amazing printed blouse from Rebecca Taylor. I’m wearing in these pictures pairs perfectly. If you’ve been reading Crazy Blonde Life, you know I have an affinity for clogs and the ones pictured are from Veronica Beard. I’ve also just purchased this leopard pair from Loeffler Randall.

New pj’s are a necessity when the seasons change and I usually go from long pajama bottoms to shorts. These animal print ones from Loft are affordable and so cute!

I’m finding cardigans to be great right now, worn over a short sleeve tee for an extra layer and this sweater set from Farm Rio takes a cardigan to a whole new level!

My obsession with these shoes from Dior continues….should I or shouldn’t I? They are so fabulous I can’t stand it!

Even though our daughters are grown, I still like to make Easter baskets. I made a boutique of things that I think would be fun to fill the baskets…you can shop below!
