The Dog Ate My Bag
This has been quite a week! I’ve mostly been busy with blogging, but also preparing for my youngest daughter, Sarah, and her husband to be home and I will say that keeping up with a puppy is more of a job than I had anticipated. He is so good mostly…but I still have to keep an eye on him! He’s a bandit when it comes to running off with blankets, clothing, anything that is within his reach is fair game.
Yesterday, I got distracted and before I knew it, he had jumped up and stolen this cute straw bag and by the time I realized that he was awfully quiet, it was too late,…he had eaten the handle completely off and was having a great tie doing it. Luckily, the bag was an Amazon find and only $29, so I just ordered another one! I really do love this bag because it’s the perfect size and goes with anything! I guess it’s a small price to pay for having a sweet pup. I just need to get in the habit of making sure everything is out of his reach! (Keep scrolling for a sad picture of my bag.)
I love a boho look for summer and this outfit is one of my favorites! We have small boutique close by where I purchase so many of my pieces (it gets me into trouble way too often). It feels good to support a local business, owned by a friend! The blouse and jeans both came from Rebecca & Company in Greensboro NC and they have a great website that you should definitely check out!
As I said before, I’m have been carrying this cute Amazon bag nonstop and I have also turned into a total Birkenstock fan! These Birkenstocks have just a little bit of sparkle…how things have changed over the years! Since they’re white, I am so careful with them because I don’t want them to get dirty and I’m really going to have to keep them away from Amos! I’m linking all of the pieces below…
My hydrangeas have been blooming like crazy this year. Some years they’re beautiful and some years, I hardly get a bloom. I have no idea why, so if anyone knows, please leave me a comment! Anyway, I’m enjoying them everyday outside and in!
Have a great weekend everyone!
