Styling a Spooky Bar Cart for Halloween

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays! When our girls were little, it was a neighborhood event and I always made a big pot of chili and everyone ended up at our house after trick-or-treating! Now that Hudson and Graham are old enough to trick-or-treat, It’s fun for me to decorate and have special cookies and candy for them. Even though Halloween is mostly for children, it’s also great to set up a bar cart with treats for everyone! As you know, I have a bar cart on the front porch that I can set up seasonally…here’s what I’m doing for Halloween!

I included glass jars filled with candy, apples and a cheese ball. I also have a few adult beverages mixed in with skulls, pumpkins and candles. I draped Halloween lights around the bar cart and Ms. Witch watches over the whole thing!

We’ll sit on the porch after trick-or-treating and hand out candy until it’s all gone, then turn out the lights and go inside!

The only thing I bought new for Halloween this year is a full sized skeleton but unfortunately, it doesn’t arrive until Friday. When he comes, I’ll put him in a chair on the porch.
