Street Style - Camo with a Little Lace
“BE OPEN TO WHATEVER COMES NEXT.”
When this Cabi Union Black sweater came, I immediately fell in love with the lace detail around the neck and the fabulous dolman sleeves. When thinking about different ways to style it, a street stye look with camo jeans came to mind because of the contrast between the camo print and the lace. I added my favorite Chloe booties and a bag from Lancel Paris to complete the look as well as a Cabi bracelet from last season. I love this look and will be wearing it all spring as I show you how I combine my new Cabi pieces with things already in my closet.
Since I started off this month talking about sustainable fashion, I wanted to share a few more companies that are taking sustainability seriously. I recently discovered a brand called & Other Stories…they have a wide selection of clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty that are made from recycled and sustainably sourced material and the pieces are amazing! Nordstrom is jumping on the band wagon by introducing a selection of previously owned clothing, shoes and accessories called See You Tomorrow. As I mentioned in my previous post, J Brand Jeans has a fabulous sustainable line as does Everlane who claim to have the world’s cleanest denim factory.
It’s always best to reduce, reuse and recycle, but when you do want to buy something new, there are more options than ever to choose from! Cabi is a good option because the clothes are high quality and a great value since the collections are intentionally curated to pair with prior and future collections.
I’ve had so many of you let me know that you’re shopping your closet and pairing items differently and some are even finding things that are brand new that had been forgotten about (including me)! Are you still shopping your closet? Let me know how it’s going…leave me a comment below! I would also love for you to snap a picture of an outfit that you put together by shopping your closet and tag me on Instagram, and follow me if you don’t already! Thanks so much for reading today!
