Saturday Style and Some Favorite Things

Happy Saturday! My posting schedule has been a little “crazy” lately because that’s how my life has been. Keep checking back because sometimes I’m posting too late for the email to go out, but the post is still up on CBL.

Tomorrow morning, I’m leaving early for Asheville…I can’t say too much about this trip yet (it’s a surprise)…but it’s going to be a great collaboration with two other bloggers, Annette Duke of Reinventing 50’s (Annette is also a contributor to Blondie), and Romy Raves who’s blog is Romy Raves. We’re staying in the HGTV Bungalow and I’m so excited!

Here’s a little preview to watch…

Finally, the other day, I was able to actually wear a sweater and not just photograph it! My sweater (and scarf) are from Cabi and I’ve been excited to wear them. The sweater is lightweight and I love the length…the scarf adds a touch of color. I’m wearing my Julie Miles cross necklace, (see more of Julie’s designs here), Frame Denim distressed jeans and my Chloe Susanna booties (my favorites)! You can order this one from Cabi and I’ve linked some other favorites from Nordstrom below! For more great shopping, be sure to visit My Amazon Shop and my Fall Favorites Shop…both on Crazy Blonde Life!

I am really fortunate as a blogger to be sent products to try and review. Some of my favorite things lately are these protein bars from Naked Nutrition. The Naked Nutrition bars have only 5 ingredients, 15 grams of protein, 210 calories, they are gluten and soy free with no sugar, alcohols or artificial sweeteners. They’re also made from grass fed whey from small family farms, which I really like! I’ve been eating the Peanut Butter Protein Bars and they’re pretty tasty and I know healthy! I’ve also been trying out Built Bar Protein Bars. They’re also really healthy and more like a candy bar,. they only have 110 calories, 15 grams of protein, and 6 grams of fiber. I got the 9 Flavor Assortment and my favorite so far is the orange!

I’ve just started using these products from Robin McGraw Revelation. They have a really nice but subtle fragrance (which I like) and feel good going on. The products that I received are - OMG! Is This Really Me Instant Face Shaper for Daytime, Dot Your Eyes Power Peptide Eye Cream, and the new Super Cooling Sheet Mask! I’ll give you updates as I use the products!

I’ve also read two books recently and loved both of them…The Great Alone by Christen Hannah and Educated by Tara Westover. They were both amazing and I highly recommend both of them! I’m currently reading Becoming by Michelle Obama and love it!

I am really excited about Blondie, The Holiday Issue! There are so many articles coming that you are going to love! I’ve interviewed Linda Rosenbaum who has created a skincare line that you’ll want to read about (hint…she’s 63, has flawless skin and doesn’t wear foundation). I met her at Round Top and saw her skin for myself. I had no idea how old she was because she looked amazing and she is quite an interesting person. You’ll want to read this one and find out about the skin care! Also, I’ve talked with Amanda Barkley who is the head Floral Designer for the White House this year and will be on the HGTV Special! I know you’ll enjoy this special issue!
