Happy New Year! I don’t know about you but after the hustle and bustle of Christmas and the whole holiday season, I’m ready to relax a little! I’m planning a day to get out of the house, do a little window shopping, have lunch and just enjoy! I won’t lie, I still haven’t gotten all of the Christmas decorations down yet, but by the time I go to bed tonight, it should all be put in storage and waiting for next year!

There are so many fun things ahead and I’m setting intentions, and excited for 2025! I have a bit of travel planned with Baldy as I said in this post and also planning to get together with some of my blogger friends! Of course, I’ll be going to visit my daughters and headed to Bald Head when the weather gets a little warmer! I’m not of a fan of really cold weather when the only form of transportation is a golf cart!

I also have the completion of our renovation to look forward to! I’ve been feeling a bit out of sorts with my clothes being scattered about in bins since September. This renovation is taking longer than it should but sometimes with an old house, you run into unexpected things. I will be so happy to begin to fill my new closet and give you all a tour!

Until then, I will continue to try to stay focused on doing what I need to do and remember that it’ll all be worth the wait (and the trouble)!

As you all know, Boston Proper is a favorite brand and the new collection has some truly standout pieces! I’m loving the classic styling of this quilted jacket and will be wearing it often! It’s not a heavy jacket and perfect with a turtleneck underneath. I styled it with my favorite Boston Proper jeans, a pair of tan suede booties and a tan suede bag (similar). It’s a classic look that is still polished and perfect for a day of shopping or running errands! As always, Boston Proper clothing is well priced and the quality is great!
