Orange Spiced Cinnamon Rolls, Notes from the Weekend and Blog Updates

Inspirational quote from Gloria Steinum

This past week went by in a flash and it was so busy! I’ve been doing my best to take some time each day to be still, reflect and dream. Ideally, I like to sit and meditate first thing in the morning…sometimes listening to a guided meditation ad sometimes, just being in the peaceful quiet of the morning. I’ve been doing this for years and I started to wonder about the difference between Transcendental Meditation and just meditation. I found this article that you might enjoy!

On Monday, I made a new fashion video that will be coming out this week. If you’re wondering about how to transition your wardrobe into fall, this one is for you! In the meantime, I' know you’ll enjoy watching β€œ7 Ways to Wear a White Tee Shirt”. You’ll find outfit ideas and combinations that you may surprise you! Please let me know if there is a particular theme for a video that you would like to see. I’m working on a new workout video and will have some holiday recipes coming your way very soon.

Wednesday was spent shopping with Lauren. We went to Maggiano’s for lunch with the boys and then hit The Gap! I found these cute camo pants and I can’t wait to style them for a blog post this week!

Speaking of Crazy Blonde Life…a few things have changed and I want to make sure you’re see everything. I have a new Amazon Shop and you can access it in the toolbar by clicking on β€œAmazon Shop” . The other shops have been updated so you can shop my latest favorites in fall fashion, beauty and Vera Bradley. I also have two new things in the sidebar. You can go straight to the Vahan Jewelry website (where you’ll be greeted by my smiling face), by clicking on the icon as well as Julie Miles Jewelry and Pandora De Balthazar Fine Linens. You all know my love for Julie Miles Pearls and resort wear and I wanted you to be able to easily see her designs (watch this YouTube video to learn about layering her pearls). You can order by contacting Julie directly and you can find her contacts on the website. I recently partnered with Vahan Jewelry on a blog post that showcased their beautiful diamond jewelry. Be sure to peruse the website and make a wish list!

I will also be working more closely with Pandora de Balthazar in the coming months. Pandora was featured in the summer issue of Blondie, by Crazy Blonde Life and if you haven’t subscribed, you’ll want to now so you can read my interview with Pandora. In addition to Blondie, Pandora has been featured in well known magazines such as Veranda and Victoria. I’ve known Pandora for years and her linens are everywhere in our home, including framed and hanging on the walls, on the beds and hanging in my guest bathroom. Her beautiful linens will be a fabulous addition to my holiday tables, picnic baskets, and so much more. She also has a line of lavender products including linen spray that I spray on my bed every morning and evening, lavender essential oil, luxurious body lotions and more. They are all available on her website, so be sure to check them out and see her beautiful linens. I love being able to share my friends with you all on Crazy Blonde Life!

Moving on (so many things to talk about)…Amazon is such a large and sometimes daunting website to navigate because there are endless options. My daughter Lauren has been working hard to sift through fashion, beauty, holiday candles and everything you need for travel in the upcoming months to make shopping easier. My holiday gift guides if you can believe it, will be coming out soon. Christmas is only 122 days away!

Mr. Crazy and I have had a great weekend so far…we went out to a new local restaurant called Burlington Beer Works on Friday evening and had a fabulous dinner. If you’re ever in town and looking for a place to eat you should definitely stop by! Yesterday was spent searching for antiques and relaxing…I found some sconces that would be perfect for our mantle. I didn’t get them because one leaned just a tiny bit, but they are so beautiful that I might go back and get them anyway. I did get a beautiful wooden dough bowl that I’ll use as a salad bowl when I need to make a lot of salad. I love finding unique things to fill our home! Later that evening, our grandson Hudson spent the night….I love having him with use, but sleeping is very interesting with a cute little foot in your face! I made him an omelet this morning for breakfast and I can proudly say that it turned out perfectly.

As you all know, I believe in the Law of Attraction, and I found this YouTube video , called The Strangest Secret in the World by Earl Nightingale. It’s an early explanation of Law of Attraction that I found fascinating!

I’m not much of a breakfast eater, but as fall starts to get closer, I do enjoy a good cinnamon roll! I’m planning to spend a restful Sunday morning eating these Spiced Orange Cinnamon rolls with a cup of coffee in my hand. I’m also looking forward to other fall foods and this Fig, Caramelized Onion, Prosciutto, and Arugula Grilled Pizza is on my list of things to try.

I have my eye on these booties from Marc Fisher! I think they’ll be great with jeans, and dresses for cute fall transitional outfits!

I’ve been putting a lot of mines on my Nike sneakers lately and they’re starting to get pretty worn out! They’ve been my favorites so far and I think I’ll replace them with these similar Nikes.
