Nonnie’s Vidalia Onion Casserole

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I cooked all day Wednesday and most of the day yesterday and everything was delicious! Thankfully, my son-in-law Chris made the turkey and my daughter made mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce! We always have too much food, but we have a tradition that everyone comes back on Friday after Thanksgiving for dinner and we eat the leftovers (on paper plates)! I love Thanksgiving, but the casualness of Friday when we all just eat on our laps and laugh and talk is so much fun too!

As promised…here’s the recipe for my moms Vidalia Onion Casserole! I’ve been eating this Vidalia Onion Casserole for longer than I can remember and making it myself for what seems like forever. It’s one of those recipes that’s so simple and delicious it doesn’t even make sense.

For some reason, I only make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas and maybe it’s because my mom only made it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Holidays do seem to bring back so many memories of all kinds and so many revolve around food. I hope you enjoy this recipe and make some food memories for your family!

Since it really is finally Black Friday…I thought I would share my favorites from the Anthropologie Sale (everything is 30% off)! Also…be sure to use this post for reference to all the best sales going on right now and be sure to check out my Amazon Shop for more great deals!
