New Brand Crush…Avara I’m Obsessed!

Avara is a women-owned brand founded in 2018 by Emily Wickard, who left a 20-year career in finance to follow her dream of creating her own clothing line. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Emily persevered and has achieved remarkable success with her collection of vibrant and versatile apparel. I take great pride in supporting women-owned companies, and Avara's clothing truly resonates with me.

By the middle of January each year, I’m ready to be done with winter and welcome the spring season with bright colors and easy to wear pieces! Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen until around mid March, but a girl can dream! I definitely took advantage of a little warm weather this week to wear this happy Spring outfit. It was so nice to be outside in short sleeves and not be cold!

Keep reading for more about this look and other pieces from Avara!

I loved the sweater I’m wearing here from the moment I saw it but had now idea just how much I loved it until I put it on! I also chose a pair of light wash jeans from Avara to pair with the sweater and honestly, they fit like they were made for me. I can honestly say that they’re my favorite jeans right now…even though they’re high waisted! As I’ve said, flare jeans make your legs look longer, especially when worn with heels…so, I paired these with my fabulous marigold yellow loafers from the Office of Angela Scott! These shoes are so comfortable and THE CUTEST! It’s impossible to wear this outfit without getting compliments!

This colorful sweater is perfect with any wash of jean and looks amazing with white jeans. I love the sleeve length and the neckline is so flattering…it’s a perfect weight for a cooler day with a jacket over. And, did I mention that it’s under $100?!

I’m including some of my favorite pieces from Avara in the boutique below! I think everything with the exception of one dress (and the loafers) is under $100! These pieces are well made, so cute and well priced!

Thanks so much for reading today!
