New Brand Crush - Lyssé New York

As I write this post, I’m sitting in my bed at Bald Head Island with the door open to the beautiful day outside and Amos sleeping at the end of the bed! I’m going to have a hard time letting summer go! I don’t remember wanting time to stand still like this but it’s so idyllic here right now and I’m savoring the moment and the last little bit of summer!

One foot in gratitude and one foot in desire…gratitude for this beautiful island and my place here and desire for all that’s coming with the fall season…a new baby in the family, birthdays, fires in the fireplace and family time!

I know I’ll be back on Bald Head in the fall and it really is the most beautiful time. The light seems different and everything sparkles! There is always something to look forward to!

One thing I always love to anticipate about the changing of the seasons is fashion! I love to sit on the beach and look at fall magazines and plan the things I want to wear! I’ve discovered a new brand that is giving me all the fall fashion feels…Lyssé New York!

Founded by Beth Gold Cohen in 2009, Lyssé New York embodies a full collection of urban-inspired apparel designed to meet the lifestyle needs of today’s women. In all we do, we live and breathe our mantra: Fabric. Fit. Fashion. No wonder our pieces showcase beautiful, quality fabrics, uncommonly gracious comfort and undying style.

Born for all women, Lyssé wardrobe essentials transcend age groups, occupations and lifestyles to comfortably move, travel and live as women do. Beautifully and assuredly.”

Lyssé New York clothes truly are so wearable, chic, comfortable and well priced!

In these pictures, I’m wearing the Aimee Vegan Pant and the Kristin Stitched Satin Shirt. These pull on pants have a faux leather look and are flowy and flattering. The shirt hangs beautifully and has a nice weight. Both pieces are so versatile and also come in a beautiful fall rust color. I styled my look with black mules, but I’ll definitely wear booties as the weather gets cooler!

Just a word about the half tuck that I’m sporting here…there was some controversy on Instagram.

As I’ve said many times, I’m short waisted and have had a hard time with the high waisted pant trend. When I tuck a shirt into high waisted pants, it cuts me right in half…my daughter says I look like Steve Urkel, which is definitely not a compliment. The half tuck trend is great for me because it gives my waist a little definition and I like it because it’s a little edgy and different. Tuck or half tuck…it’s up to you but either way, you’ll love these pieces!

Lyssé New York has so many pieces that are wearable for fall and I’ll be showing you more as the weather starts to get cooler! In the meantime, keep scrolling because I’m linking a few of my favorite pieces in a boutique below! Be sure to check out the Lyssé website because there is so much that you’ll love!

My necklace and pearl bracelet are both from French Kande and compliment this look so nicely!
