If you peek inside my closet, you’ll find handbags, lots of denim, sweaters and blouses, but what you’ll see most of is shoes! I feel that shoes define my look more than any other item. This is the reason that Betzabe Gonzalez and Carolina Lujan founded Mia Becar, an Italian inspired shoe brand. They have a love for shoes and wanted to create a brand that would elevate any woman’s look.

Italy is the capital of beautiful handmade shoes and it was the birthplace of Mia Becar. Gonzalez and Luja, who share a passion for exotic colors, bold silhouettes, and travel, took the time to learn about the process of making artisan shoes by touring factories throughout Italy which led to their first collection of shoes!

Mia Becar shoes are designed to stand out. I personally love this because my shoes are one place where I let my personality shine. They reflect my mood for that particular day and say a little about me before I even open my mouth. These shoes are designed with the busy woman in mind who wants to look and feel beautiful. They are feminine, yet versatile and designed for every woman.

Mia Becar is inspired by a diversity of women, nature, color and shapes and are a blend of femininity and power and isn’t that what we all are…?
