Your Week of Outfits - December 18, 2023
I’m back again with weekly outfit inspiration! These outfits are all so much fun and are meant to inspire you to take items from your closet to recreate similar looks! Of course, if you would like to shop that would be amazing…I’ve tried to include a variety of price points for most budgets!
In the outfit above, what jumps out at me is the combination of camel, black and chocolate brown. So, I do have a pair of very old chocolate brown boots that I’ve been thinking I should pull out and that’s where I would start with this look. I definitely would put on a white tee under the blazer and probably wear a black blazer instead of a camel one. Just play around and see what you come up with…you might be surprised!
There are days when I want to wear color and days when black and brown seem to be in order so go with your mood as well!
The snakeskin booties are definitely the star of this show, but I don’t own a pair. I do have a snakeskin blouse that would be fun with black jeans. The blouse is years old, but still really beautiful so I’m inspired to pull it out and play around with different combinations.
Ballet flats are not my jam…they are not flattering on me. They are a huge trend right now, but I will not be participating. I do however, love the idea of wearing a graphic tee or sweatshirt underneath a blazer and love the print of this blazer. It’s an interesting street style look that’s unexpected. Perfect for a day when you want to be casual. The necklace is a fun addition that dresses up the look so even if you’re not wearing a blazer with your graphic tee or sweatshirt, consider a necklace or two!
Light bloue and chocolate brown are such fabulous colors together! This simple look can be recreated in so many color combinations and always works. A cropped sweater is perfect with high waisted pants or jeans. Play around with colors like pink and red, black and brown, green and purple. Be bold if you feel like it!
I am a fan of lug sole boots and booties. They are comfortable and perfect with jeans and leggings and the trend doesn’t seem to be loosing any steam! Leggings and a longer sweater is a combination that most everyone owns and can be very chic…especially with a great pair of lug sole boots!
Consider off white pants with a pink sweater and silver accessories or an off white sweater with the fabulous sequin skirt if this cute look from J. Crew is too much! I’m thinking of investing in a pair of silver slingbacks because they are so versatile!
Who doesn’t love cozy Sundays? The long black coat really elevates the whole look and the Dolce Vita sneakers come in lots of colors and are so cute. Perfect for a long stroll on a cold day!
