How to Layer For Warmth and Style

When the thermometer drops and you don’t even want to go outside, it's tempting to throw fashion to the wind and pile on everything in your closet. But there's an easy art to mastering a flattering layered look and staying warm. Layering is important for practical reasons, but you don’t have to look like a snowman, it’s still possible to create a stylish outfit and stay warm. Here in North Carolina, it doesn’t get that crazy cold. We’ll have our days in the 20’s, but we rarely get much colder than that. Keep scrolling to the bottom for a gallery of ideas for layering on a cold day!

Flat over-the-knee boots are the most fashionable winter-approved footwear. They elevate any outfit while covering even more surface area.

I love the idea of wearing a sheer tulle skirt over a pair of jeans or leggings!
