Inspired by J. Crew

If you were ever in doubt about the versatility of leopard print,  this outfit may change your mind. This wild print has been everywhere for years and I love it to add a pop of interest to an outfit…any time of the year, but especially in the spring, fall and winter. Leopard is sassy and fun, but still…considered a neutral!

Leopard is such a staple in my closet and it’s hard to remember a time when it wasn’t on trend. We definitely have J. Crew’s former queen, Jenna Lyons to thank for pairing leopard with just about every color and pattern imaginable.

I do not like to be cold in the spring, but I’m so tired of dark dreary colors…I’m ready to wear my spring clothes and be warm while I’m wearing them!

This outfit is made up of items that were hanging in my closet…the pink pants are part of a Cabi suit from last season, the shoes are Valentino Rockstuds that I’ve had forever, the coat is TopShop and the bag is from Tory Burch. The tee from Michael Stars is the only thing I’m wearing that’s new! I love it when an outfit comes together from items I already own - especially one that’s fun like this! It makes me feel creative and a little outside the box. Thanks to Jenna Lyons and J. Crew for inspiring me! What inspires you when it comes to getting dressed?

Baldy and will be busy with wedding festivities this weekend…our niece is getting married! We have the rehearsal dinner tonight and the wedding tomorrow! It will be exciting for me to go to a wedding as we’re planning Rebecca’s wedding and I’m sure there will be many great ideas to inspire! Hopefully, I’ll be cooking with Hudson on Sunday…he wants to make eggs, so I’m thinking about making my Country Frittata with him! What are your plans for the weekend?
