It’s very simple…If You’re Not Changing It, You’re Choosing It!
Give Yourself a Little Love
Move often. When we move we connect back to our body and allow its energy to move around. Walk, run, dance, flow, work out…whatever brings you back into your beautiful temple.
Be mindful of your food. We literally are what we eat. So, neither deprive yourself, nor eat processed junk food, but eat a balanced nutritious diet. Drink lots of water and get into the kitchen to explore some new mouthwatering dishes that feed your body and soul.
Stop feeding your brain junk food…don’t over consume news, stop watching reality TV, and be mindful of whom you follow and how much time you spend on social media. Most everyone spends time on Facebook, Instagram or some other social media platform, just make sure it’s time well spent…motivational and inspiring.
Sleep well and enough. Limit screen time to 2 hours before bed and get enough sleep to allow your body to recharge. Sleep can have a huge impact on your health, so lights off early for a good nights sleep.
Be Intentional with your time. Time is the most precious thing we have. Be aware with whom and how you spend it. Listen to your gut and when something feels worth doing, follow that feeling.
Create something that sparks your soul. Make time to play regularly, whatever that is for you. Something that you fully enjoy doing, that gets you into the flow…when time stands still.
Spend time alone. Take yourself out for a nice date (if you can go out), walk or do whatever resonates with you. Make sure you take time to truly be with yourself without a to-do list.
Invest in the ones you love. Quality over quantity here! You cannot have capacity for too many people so invest in the relationships that are the most special. Talk to them often, give them your presence, love and kindness. It will come back to you and fill both your hearts.
Do gratitude work. It might be writing in a journal and listing three things you’re grateful for each day, meditating or anything that stops your monkey mind. Focusing each day on what you are grateful for is grounding and enriching and it shifts your perspective to the good things in your life.
Forgive yourself for the past and move on!
