As a woman owned small business, I believe in supporting and CELEBRATING other businesses owned by women! It’s one of the most important things we can do for each other! Women entrepreneurs are a special breed…very driven, confident and determined to succeed. It’s not easy to start a business and as it grows, it is even more challenging, but we learn as we go and figure it out through all the ups and downs!
As a mother of three girls and a woman myself, I can see the inequality in the world for girls and women and one of the best ways we can encourage our daughters is to be an example of a successful self made woman. Let’s put money in the hands of women owned businesses that will be that example and use their money and influence to better themselves and the world around them!
Today, I’m featuring Coastal Clutch NY! Coastal Clutch NY is a small woman owned business that makes the most amazing one-of-a-kind clutches from beautiful fabrics and vintage costume jewelry. I love the idea of being able to carry a bag that no one else owns…it’s a great way to show off my personality and my individual style and as I have gotten older, that has become much more important to me!
The bag I’m carrying here is a navy, light blue and off white leopard print with a vintage jaguar. I’ve styled it with a faux fur coat from last season, an off white Vince turtleneck, my Moussy Vintage jeans, a vintage pearl necklace and light blue Valentino sandals. The weather here has been so wonky…warm one day and cold the next, so I took advantage of this somewhat warm day to wear sandals because they look so amazing with the bag and also, I love the look of jeans and a strappy block heel sandal. In my opinion, the clutch completes the outfit and is definitely a stylish statement!
