Last night was crazy…I had been working all day, the house was a wreck…I had been to the grocery store and the groceries were still sitting on the counter in the bags and I didn’t feel like cooking dinner! Do you ever have days like that?
I found this recipe for Hamburger Soup on a blog called Salt & Lavender, and knew it would be quick and easy and, I had all of the ingredients. I tweaked it just a bit and added the grated Romano cheese at the end. The soup came together in about 15 minutes and I let it simmer for another 15 or 20. A warm bowl of soup was just what I needed. It was delicious and filling, but not too heavy. The best part was that cleanup was easy and there are leftovers for today! I would say that this is a perfect recipe for those nights when you don’t have time to cook but don’t want to go out! Trust me…it was delicious!
I love anything vintage, but especially dishes! I found these 1920’s French Porcelain Lion Bowls…they’re one of a kind and will elevate any bowl of soup!
I’m including a boutique below of things I’ve already purchased and love and things that I really want! Enjoy!
Let me know if you make this soup! Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram , Pinterest and in the LiketoKnow.it app, where I post things that don’t always make it to the blog! Have a great Wednesday and thank you for reading!

Tasty recipe and made it this evening with some ground venison we had in the freezer. Added some sage, and a 5 ounce box of fideo (vermicelli noodles) and cooked another 10 minutes longer. great cold weather dinner.
Hi Michael
That all sounds so delicious! I’ll have to try it that way! Thanks for sharing!
